Working in Maine

Glorious day driving up and down the Maine coastline today for meetings with several clients. Felt a little odd not being on vacation with the throngs of other travelers who were clearly NOT working. The air cleared up and was dry, sunny, and breezy, with the faint smell of salt water. Local radio news informed me of the latest happenings while motoring north to Auburn, then back down to Portland. Very interesting to compare the look and feel of New England cities, the public spaces, and approaches to communicating brands and messages everywhere visible. Also, driving styles. I much prefer to drive beyond the borders of MA than within them. Hm, wonder why.
